At the end of May the weather is typically mild and pleasant with temperatures ranging from 10 to 18 degrees Celsius. The days are long with the setting around 22:30, giving visitors plenty of daylight to explore the city. However, occasional showers are still possible so it’s a good idea to pack an umbrella or raincoat.

Helsinki is in Eastern European Summer Time (EEST) during summer. EEST is three hours ahead of coordinated universal time (UTC+03:00).

Power plugs and sockets in Finland are one of the two European standard electrical socket types: type F Schuko or type C Europlug. The standard voltage is 230 V at a frequency of 50 Hz.

Please make sure to bring plug adaptors or power converters if needed, even though some hotels offer them at the reception, it’s always best to have your own.
