The abstract book will be published as a special edition of Palliative Medicine and will be available online prior to the congress. You can access the abstract book directly from the congress website home page https://eapccongress.eu/2023

The congress has been accredited by EACCME with 16 points. To receive these, it is necessary to scan your badge every day of the congress before 10.00 am CET.

This year, for the first time, we will have an EAPC Congress app!  The app enables you to stay up to date at all times during the congress.

You can:

· Create your personal agenda,

· View the e-posters,

· Find your way around the venue and much more.

The app is free to download in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store:

1. Install: Search the Apple App Store or Google Play Store for “Conf2Go” and install the app

2. Enter the congress code “EAPC2023” and download the content.

3. Use all existing content – programme, e-posters, floorplan and much more.

Please get your congress badge at the registration desk in the entrance hall.

Registration is also possible on Wednesday, 14th June, 1.00 pm – 5.00 pm CET.

Please scan your badge every day during the conference to make sure you are eligible for CME credits.

Don’t forget to visit the EAPC blog with contributions from some of the leading clinicians and academics involved in adult and paediatric palliative and end-of-life care.

You can find the EAPC stand (number 4) and a stand for the EAPC Reference Groups and Task Forces (number 5/6) in the exhibition hall. We look forward to meeting you!

The first sessions in the morning are designed as more informal meetings between experts and participants, the ‘breakfast title’ refers to the early hour and the more conversational style of the session. Unfortunately, no food will be served…But you are welcome to bring some coffee.

Bring your own bottle – and refill: water dispensers are available throughout the venue

The certificate, which includes the relevant CME credits will be available after the congress has ended. Any attendee who wishes to obtain their certificate must complete the congress evaluation form. https://forms.office.com/e/E0zGTAKUGk

Individual members of the EAPC who live and work in Europe and who have registered to attend can join the EAPC General Assembly on Friday, 16th June, 6.00pm-7.00 pm in the “Van Rijckevorsel and Ruys Zaal”

EAPC invites you to join our get-together on Thursday, 15th June, 6.00 pm-7.00 pm in the exhibition hall. (Closing time of the venue is 7.30 pm CET).

Lunch boxes will be handed out in the Foyer Grote Zaal on Thursday and Friday from 12.30 pm CET.

If you indicated any special dietary requirements needs (food allergy), please get your box at booth number 2 (!)

You can register prior to the conference but also in the venue at the registration counter. If you have registered as an undergraduate student or as a participant from a Low-Middle Income country, please provide all necessary documents.

If you need some quiet time for yourself, to reflect or pray, the Silent Room in “De Leeuw Kamer” Is open from 9 am to 6 pm on Thursday and Friday. Please note: NO electronic devices, no smartphones, no laptops. The room is not a work space.

All Workshops are free and you can join on a first come, first serve basis. Presenters may define the number of attendants.

The 18th World Congress of the European Association for Palliative Care, Rotterdam the Netherlands, 15/06/2023 – 17/06/2023 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 16 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that they actually spent in the educational activity.

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM.
